Run by Chris & Nicki Smart, 112 Survival is based in five acres of woodland close to the Wrekin hill in East Shropshire, and offers a range of survival courses and woodland rental opportunities.
Survival Courses
At 112 Survival we specialise in training courses that focus on surviving an outdoor emergency until rescue. We are dedicated to giving you the best possible experience in real life survival skills. We do not conduct bushcraft training.
You will learn how to plan your outdoor adventure and adapt your plan during an emergency situation and alert the Search And Rescue emergency services.
We draw from the knowledge gained during real life survival events to teach and practice procedures that you can apply while surviving your emergency in the outdoors.
We teach these skills in a friendly and open way. We'll help you cultivate a positive attitude, a confidence in yourself, and your equipment, and help you develop your ability to adapt to adversity and survive until rescue.
Woodland Rental
Our woodland site is available to rent on a full or part day basis allowing people the freedom to conduct their own activities.
If you would like to use our woodland for a specific event, please get in touch so that we can discuss your requirements. We will do our best to ensure that you have the best woodland experience possible.
Den Building & Fire Lighting
Come and spend the day building a den with what you can find in the woods and then ‘make fire’.
We will look at use of cutting tools, types, and construction of dens, followed by methods of starting a fire, fuel preparation and uses for that fire.
Off-Site Training
112 survival can come to your location to deliver survival training.
